Handing over conman to Gujrat Police provides escape route to erring officers | | |

Jammu, Apr 6: After the direction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, J&K Police have handed over conman Dr. Kiran J Patel to Gujrat Police and this decision has given escape routes to officers who were responsible for providing all protocols to the cheat.
The fraudster hoodwinked the J&K administration for three months by impersonation as a senior officer in Prime Minister's Office (PMO).
Sources said that after handing over to Kiran Patel to Gujrat Police, the officers who provided him VIP treatment without verifying his credentials are likely to be saved for their misdeeds.
The Chief Judicial Magistrate Srinagar on Thursday ordered the custody of cheater Dr. Patel to Gujrat Police after disposing-off the petition filed by the Crime Branch Ahmedabad. M M Solani, Inspector of the Crime Branch of Gujrat Police filed a petition before the CJM Srinagar to take custody of Dr. Patel.
