Police officer, counterpart to face action in Gujarat conman case 4/9/2023 8:11:38 PM Sanjay Pandita Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 8: A Jammu and Kashmir Police officer of the rank of Senior Superintendent of Police and his counterpart from the civil administration are likely to face action in the Gujarat conman Kiren Patel case. Sources said the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, VK Bhuduria, who is probing the case has got “credible inputs” that the said police officer had granted “Z-Plus” security cover to the conman during his multiple trips to the valley in violation of the norms. The police officer may be the first to face action in the conman case while more officials are apprehended to fall in the line. Sources said as the police official in league with his counterpart from civil administration, who heads a district in south Kashmir, had been helping the said official in violation of norms.
