Poonch attack: Bathindi Madrassa cleric was coordinating with Pak-based terror handlers | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 30: Detained by the Special Operation Group (SoG) of the J&K Police, a Moulvi of Bhathindi Madrassa was reportedly in touch with Pakistan-based terror handlers to coordinate the Poonch attack.
Highly placed sources said that during initial questioning the detained Imam confessed his involvement in terror activities as he was coordinating between some active over-ground workers (OGWs) and Pakistan-based mentors of terrorists.
“The Moulvi has set up a strong communication network and he was using advanced media platforms to remain in touch with Pakistan-based terrorists”, a source said, adding, “to dodge the security agencies, the Moulvi was using modern technics for his communication with terrorists sitting in Pakistan”.
Sources said that Moulvi was regularly guiding Nasir Ahmed of Poonch who was already arrested for giving shelter to terrorists for three months.
Important to mention here that the Special Operation Group (SoG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday detained one Imam from the Bathindi area of Jammu City.

Jammu, Apr 30: Three persons were killed when a car they were travelling in met with an accident and plunged into a deep gorge in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police on Sunday said that on Saturday evening, information was received that one car fell into about a 300-meter deep gorge, which was on its way to Devigarh from Reasi due to which three persons died on spot.

Srinagar, Apr 30: Meteorological Department on Sunday predicted that the weather is very likely to remain erratic during the first week of May in Jammu and Kashmir.
It said there are less chances of a brief spell of Rain in the evening at some places today and added that a brief spell of rain with thunderstorm may occur at a few places towards late afternoon or evening with 60 percent chances on May 1.
