Terrorist conspiracy case: NIA raids 15 locations across J&K | | | Agencies
New Delhi, May 9: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) today conducted searches at 15 locations in Jammu and Kashmir’s seven districts in the Pakistan-backed terrorist conspiracy case.
The Central anti-terror agency officials carried out the search operation at four places in Anantnag, three in Shopian, two each in Budgam, Srinagar and Poonch, and one each in Baramulla and Rajouri districts in the Union Territory.
The NIA had registered a suo motu case on June 21 last year about the terrorist conspiracy.
The raids are still underway at these 15 locations in Jammu and Kashmir, and the NIA is being supported by Central Reserve Police Force and police personnel. The places being searched are linked to suspects in the case.

Kishtwar, May 9: India’s primiere investigating agency, NIA today conducted the raids at the rented accommodation of a government teacher Mushtaq Ahmed son of Ghulam Mohammad Wani R/o Sewa Chatroo an ReT teacher at Malipath Kishtwar.
Today,s raids were in continuation to the previous raids that took place at 6 different locations including at the homes of two Government employees, 2 ex-militants and pro-separatist leader and his political & social activist son.
As per the details available with Early Times, NIA first visited the home of the government teacher under scrutiny at Sewa village in Chatroo from where they returned after not finding him at home.

New Delhi, May 9: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch development projects costing over Rs 5,500 cr in Rajasthan on Wednesday, a statement said.

Jammu, May 9: In a major decision, the Indian Army officers from the rank of Brigadier and above will don a common uniform from the month of August.

Srinagar, May 9: Security forces on Tuesday arrested two militant associates of the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) outfit in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district and recovered arms and ammunition, including an IED, from them, police said.
During the course of an investigation into a case, security forces arrested two terrorist associates linked with proscribed terror outfit LeT, a police spokesperson said.
