Deaths going unabated in GMC Jammu; Inhuman Babus still ‘clueless’ Over 41% of total deaths recorded in GMC only 5/14/2021 11:48:40 PM Early Times Report Jammu, May 14: Although meetings and follow-up meetings of Babus are going on for the last month, yet deaths of COVID patients in Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu are going unabated. Shockingly out of total of 742 COVID deaths reported in J&K in the month of May, 310 were recorded from GMC only-which is 41.77 percent of the total deaths in this month. Babus are repeatedly claiming that there is no shortage of oxygen in GMC but they are failed to give reason for ‘slaying’ of helpless poor patients, who could not afford treatment in private hospitals due to their economic conditions. Highly placed sources said that there is a big flaw in the existing infrastructure which causing the deaths of such a huge number of patients. Some family members of deceased COVID patients have also raised doubt over the adequate flow of oxygen in the dedicated COVID wards.
