Adhocism exposed as Govt fails to appoint permanent head of Health Dept; gives charge to Dy Director | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 22: As the highly sensitive and crucial health department in Jammu province was headless for the last 51 days, the government on Monday assigned the charge of Director Health Services Jammu to Dr. Rajeev Sharma, who is already serving as Deputy Director Health Services Jammu.
According to an order issued by the government, Health, and Medical Education department on Monday assigned additional charges to Dr Tabassum Jabeen and Dr Rajeev Kumar Sharma.

Srinagar, May 22: Shops and business establishments remained open in Srinagar and traffic plied normally on Monday- the day when foreign delegates arrived in Kashmir for the three day G20 Meeting , officials said.
This is unlike in the past when life used to get hit during such high profile events.

Srinagar, May 22: A Special Court designated under National Investigation Agency (NIA) Act issued proclamation orders against five active terrorists involved in various terror crime and target killing cases including killing of lady teacher Rajni Bala and Bank Manager Vijay Kumar in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam last year.
The two minority community members were killed in two seperate attacks last year.
Rajni Bala, a resident of Samba in the Jammu region, was killed on May 31, 2022 in the Gopalpora area of Kulgam where she was posted as a teacher. Days later on June 2, bank manager Vijay Kumar hailing from Rajasthan was shot dead in the same district.

Jammu, May 22: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Jammu has filed a case against TSO Ab. Majid Wani and Assistant Director Ghar Singh from the FCS&CA Department Kishtwar for alleged misappropriation of carriage charges related to ration items.
The case was registered following a complaint lodged by Manzoor Ahmad, accusing the officers and officials of the CA&PD Department in Marwah, Kishtwar of misappropriating carriage charges for food grains transported from Food store Guzar to Food store Inshan and Food store Choidraman during the years 2014-15 and 2015-16.
