TOP STORY OF THE DAY
No FIR was registered against Akbar Lone for abusing late Ansari, raising pro-Pak slogans in the House
"One needs to ask the J&K Police why it doesn't act so promptly when a common man is abused on the social media and social networking groups? Why are policemen biased in their approach?"
5/30/2018 11:06:11 AM
Early Times Report Jammu, May 29: The Jammu and Kashmir Police have intensified the manhunt to trace Rajinder Singh, brother of the former minister Choudhary Lal Singh, in connection with the case registered against him for using derogatory language against the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti. Police have even issued a lookout notice against him and the notice has been given the wide publicity. Everyone is of the opinion that Singh should not have used the filthy language against the Chief Minister. An analyst while talking to Early Times said that in 2011 when senior National Conference leader Akbar Lone was the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly he had abused the senior PDP leader late Moulvi Iftikhar Hussain Ansari. The Speaker of the Assembly losing his cool and abusing a senior leader had shocked the entire state. "Everyone at that point of time had demanded that FIR should be registered against Lone but the matter was pushed under the carpet," he said. "The PDP did not push the matter despite it being in the Opposition at that point of time." Recalling the recent incid...
