Jammu, May 30: Expect issuing statements and tweeting from Twitter handles Jammu-based politicians have no time to attend the cremation of poor terror victim Deepak Kumar alias Deepu, who was killed by terrorists on Monday evening.
Jammu-based politicians of all political parties skipped the cremation of the poor terror victim who was the lone breadwinner for his family.
Former MLA R S Pathania, who was a native of the Majalta area of Ramnagar, and Pawan Khajuria of Udhampur were the exceptional case who reached the remotest village to stand with the terror victim at this crucial time.

Udhampur, May 30: Deepu Kumar (27) was expecting his first child in June but his life was cut short in a militant attack in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, leaving his poor family without its sole breadwinner.
Kumar, who worked at a circus in the district’s Janglat Mandi area, was gunned down by Lashkar-e-Taiba militants in the latest incident of targeted killing when he had gone to the market to buy milk around 8.30 pm on Monday.
His body was on Tuesday moved to his remote Thial village in Udhampur district where, in a heart-wrenching gesture, locals came forward to help the Below Poverty Line-family perform his last rites.

Srinagar, May 30: A tourist family was allegedly taken hostage by a BJP leader, Mohammad Sadiq Khan in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
The victim family while talking to Early Times said, “We were on our way to Jammu from Pahalgam but unfortunately our vehicle hit another vehicle.
It was a minor mishap. We stopped our vehicle and asked the other vehicle occupants if they were okay. Suddenly a man got down and started hitting us. And blows were exchanged.”

According to the sources, accused Saqib Ahmed Dar of Narkura Budgam gave a lift to a girl student in his car earlier this week. The girl was on way to her coaching centre.
