Kashmir centric leaders maintain criminal silence over Handwara killings | | |

Jammu, May 4: On late Saturday night, Kashmir witnessed one of the bloodiest gunfight that left an Army Colonel, a Major, two soldiers, and a Jammu and Kashmir Police sub-inspector dead, most Kashmir centric leaders, barring Omar Abdullah, maintained silence and didn’t utter a single word to pay tributes to the slain soldiers. Even Congress maintained criminal silence on such a tragedy which sent entire nation into the mourning.
The PDP’s twitter handle ironically pitched for the ceasefire but didn’t praise those who sacrificed their lives in line of duty. “LoC lit yet again. Srinagar, May 4: Former BJP minister from Ladakh Union Territory Cherring Dorjay today claimed that the party wants to control Ladakh affairs from Jammu leaving both the autonomous hill councils of Leh and Kargil literally defunct.
