AB Sharma Early Times Report Reasi, June 13: An influential lady Panch of Panchayat Alya of Tehsil Tariarth of district Reasi has allegedly encroached upon 200 kanals of forest land in district Nowshera in active connivance of senior officers of Forest Department. Sources told Early Times that at village BC Kalakote, a Panch, who is said to be very powerful, has occupied hundreds of kanals of Forest land but the concerned department is unmoved which directly raises fingers on the officers at helms. "She has been encroaching upon forest land for the last many years with the involvement of Forest officers and settling down her relatives to keep possession in her hand under the nose of Forest Department," they said.
