Jammu, June 15: The Union Territory administration on Thursday sought applications from government employees for the “honesty and integrity award”. July 10 is the last date for applying for this award.

Jammu, June 15: As huge discrepancies have been detected in the recently declared result of Class 12th, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (BOSE) allowed students to get photostat copies of their answer sheets by paying some amounts.
According to a notification issued by Dr. Sudhir Singh Director of Academics, all the eligible candidates of Higher Secondary Part-11 (Class 12th ) Examination Session Annual Regular 2023 desirous of obtaining the Photostat copy or copies of their Answer Scripts and/ or Re-evaluating their Answer Scripts are hereby informed that they shall apply online for the same on the JKBOSEofficial website i.e. www.jkbose.nic.in.

JAMMU, June 15: More than 40 food items have been banned at the upcoming Amarnath Yatra and the pilgrims have been advised to achieve physical fitness by walking at least 5 kilometres a day, the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board said in its health advisory issued on Thursday. The banned food items include drinks, fried and fast food items.
The health advisory also called upon devotees undertaking the pilgrimage to the Himalayan shrine located in south Kashmir for achieving physical fitness and asked them to start a preparatory morning and evening walk, about 4 to 5 km per day.

Jammu, June 15: Two persons were killed and three injured when a car they were travelling in plunged into a deep gorge in Budhal area of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir.
Police said that a car plying towards Samote from Targain on Thursday morning at around 7:30 AM fell into a deep gorge.
Police said that two people died on the spot and three suffered injuries.
The deceased were identified as Shah Jahan and Shenaz Akhter.

New Delhi, June 15: The courage, bravery and sacrifice of the Army personnel killed in the Galwan Valley clashes will continue to inspire coming generations, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said on Thursday while paying homage to them on the third anniversary of the conflict.
The clashes in June 2020 were the most serious military conflict between India and China in decades.
