Missing revenue maps: After CS’s directions erring officers likely to face strict action 6/15/2023 10:58:56 PM Early Times Report Jammu, June 15: A day after directions of Chief Secretary Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta to single out officers responsible for missing important revenue maps, higher-ups have initiated the exercise to fix responsibilities. Highly placed sources said that Chief Secretary has taken very serious note of this scandal and directed the authorities concerned to complete the probe as early as possible to take action against erring officers/officials. On Wednesday Chief Secretary took serious note of the missing 392 revenue maps across the Union Territory and directed the authorities to fix responsibility on those who were responsible for this misdeed. While reviewing the overall implementation of various schemes for the development of Agriculture in J&K, the Chief Secretary exhorted the officers to fix the responsibility for misplacing 392 revenue maps (Mussavis) and initiate the process of recreating the same at the earliest.
