Crush terrorism with iron hand: Centre directs J&K authorities

Early Times Report Jammu, June 15: Taking serious note of recent terror incidents in Jammu province, the Central government has directed authorities in the Union Territory to crush terrorism with an iron hand and take strict action against those involved in sheltering terrorists. Apart from giving clear directions to the UT authorities to intensify anti-terror operations in Jammu province, the Union Government has also assured to equip Jammu and Kashmir with advanced equipment to fight the undeclared war imposed by Pakistan through mercenaries. Director General of Police (DGP) R R Swain while interacting with media persons at Hirnagar said that the Union Government has asked the J&K administration to take effective steps to crush terrorism and also single out those who are providing shelter to terrorists.
