Amit Shah to check report card of local BJP leaders, seek feedback from them | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 22: During his two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is likely to check the report card of local leaders and seek feedback from them regarding the ground situation in the Union Territory.
Highly placed sources Prabhari and She-Prabhari of J&K BJP have already directed all local leaders to prepare their report cards to present the same before the Home Minister.
After addressing a rally at Bhagwati Nagar Home Minister is likely to reach BJP headquarters at Trikuta Nagar to meet with senior leaders.
All senior leaders including heads of Morchas and incharge of various campaigns have been asked to remain in the office with all relevant data and progress reports.
Sources said that as per preparations for the next Lok Sabha elections, BJP leaders have been assigned tasks to work at the grassroots to get feedback about the impact of welfare schemes launched by the Union Government.
Earlier Amit Shah had visited Jammu on January 13 when he reviewed the security situation in Union Territory Jammu and Kashmir.

Jammu, June 22: As the opposition parties are all set to meet in Patna on Friday to chalk out a joint strategy for next year’s Lok Sabha elections, leaders of regional political parties in J&K have remained tightlipped.
National Conference and Peoples Democratic Party leaders have announced that they would participate in the meeting which will be attended by a host of opposition leaders from nearly 20 parties.

Jammu, June 22: Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar on Thursday said the architect of the Indian constitution Dr. B R Ambedkar had declined to draft Article 370 as he had a great vision.
“Architect of our constitution was against incorporating Article 370 in the constitution”, he said.

Srinagar, June 22: Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of J&K Police on Thursday attached the house of Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) militant associate for harbouring and providing logistic support to militants in Bijbehara town of south Kashmir.
