JAMMU, June 25: Amid spike in COVID-19 cases as well as deaths across the country including Jammu and Kashmir, the pregnant women employees are in a dilemma over joining their duties as no such order has so far been issued by government exempting them from duties.
In the last week of May 2020, some district administrations had issued a circular, in which they had acknowledged the vulnerability of pregnant women to catch the infection and had directed the Drawing and Disbursing Officers of all departments to send the pregnant women on leave.

Srinagar, June 25: People of Ladakh are worried over the ongoing face-off along the Line of Actual Control especially in the Pangong lake area, which is the prime tourist destination in the new Union Territory.

Leh, Jun 25: As many as 84 more COVID-19 patients were released from quarantine after getting cured of the disease in Ladakh on Thursday, bringing down the number of the active cases in the union territory to 582, officials said. New Delhi, June 25: Amid the border tensions with China, the Centre has decided to focus on improving the infrastructure in the border areas of Ladakh.
The construction of as many as 54 mobile towers has started in Ladakh. Also, one mobile tower will be built in Demchok near Line of Actual Control (LAC).
