After facing defeat in LS polls, Apni Party dissolves its frontal units | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, June 27: After getting a drubbing in recently held parliamentary elections, Apni Party led by Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Thursday announced dissolution of all Kashmir province frontal units with immediate effect.
“It is hereby ordered that all frontal organisations of Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (Kashmir province), including the Youth Wing, Women Wing and ST Wing, are dissolved with immediate effect,” a party statement said.
The unprecedented development is largely attributed to the Apni Party’s debacle in recently held Parliamentary elections.

PAHALGAM, June 27: Unprecedented security measures, including electronic surveillance along the entire yatra route and access control arrangements, have been made for the annual Amarnath yatra scheduled to begin on Saturday. A senior police official said the security measures have been beefed up for this year’s Amarnath yatra given the recent terror attacks in the Jammu region, including the one where a bus was carrying pilgrims to Shiv Khori Shrine.

JAMMU, June 27: The first batch of pilgrims for the 52-day Shri Amarnath Yatra will leave from Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas base camp here amidst tight security arrangements.
