Jammu, June 6: Before completion of the counting on the Baramulla Lok Sabha constituency, former Chief Minister and Vice President of the National Conference Omar Abdullah politely conceded defeat and congratulated winning candidate Engineer Rashid.
But after two days, Omar Abdullah is feeling hurt as the media projects him as a “big loser” among some other political stalwarts who lost elections.
Reacting to a media headline “From Smriti Irani to Omar Abdullah, the big losers of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections”, the National Conference leader could not control his feelings.
“The “big loser” tag certainly hurts but it’s an election, you win some you lose some and life goes on”, he posted on his social media account.
“Never Give In is our motto; strive till the set of sun; And we learn its truth; In the days of youth on the long Hodson run; For though your heart seems bursting; Up Sergeant Tilly’s hill; Thought you may not win, you will yet come in; if you stick it still”, he further posted.

Jammu, June 6: The J&K Board of School Education declared the result of class 12th Annual Regular 2024 pertaining to UT of J&K and the UT of Ladakh under Uniform Academic Calendar.
In total, 93340 students were enrolled for this examination out of which 69385 students passed the exams; 46550 are males and 46786 are females. JAMMU, June 6: Nearly 90 percent of the candidates vying for the five Lok Sabha seats in Jammu and Kashmir lost their security deposits, unable to garner one-sixth of the votes polled in their respective constituencies.
