Jammu, June 8: As the Jammu and Kashmir takes centre stage in the agenda of new Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the ruling Bhartiya Janta Party has sidelined high profile Ram Madhav, the BJP national general secretary and incharge of the J&K affairs.
According to the sources in BJP circles, Ram Madhav has been sidelined by the party high command and more particularly the national president Amit Shah, who is also Union Home Minister now and most powerful after Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
While the Union Home Ministry is seriously mulling big initiatives for resolution of Kashmir problem and restoration of peace in the trouble torn State through some bold decisions like delimitation of J&KJ Assembly constituencies and possible scrapping of Articles 370, 35 A, no one in the Central Government as well as in the ruling BJP is consulting Ram Madhav.

srinagar, June 8: A leader who was ousted from the Peoples Democratic Party on charges of conspiring to dethrone the party president Mehbooba Mufti is now lobbing for a new alliance ahead of the Assembly polls.
While the Election Commission of India recently said the polls were likely to be held after the Amarnath Yatra, the ousted PDP in league with his former colleague who is also out of the party, have been lobbying for the new alliance.

Jammu, June 8: After being referred for advance treatment by doctors at sub district hospital (SDH) Kalakote, a woman who was injured in a house collapse on Saturday was made to wait for ambulance for more than three hours.
According to family members of Renu Devi, a resident of Mehari, Kalakote, she had received severe injuries when her house got collapsed. "We rushed her the hospital, but the doctors on duty referred her to district hospital Rajouri", said Mohan Singh, a relative of the woman.

Jammu, June 8: The state Higher Education department is likely to propose creation of over 7200 posts of gazetted as well as non-gazetted employees for over 100 new government degree colleges.

Srinagar, June 8:The government seems more interested in empowering the Anti-Corruption Bureau over other anti-graft bodies in Jammu and Kashmir.
In the State Vigilance Commission Rules, 2019, the government has removed the clause of Anti-Corruption Bureau where it was mandatory for ACB to submit hourly reports to SVC.
