Not a single rupee spent on rehab of Jammu migrants | Out of PM's 80k cr package | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 30: What more could reveal the failure of the previous regime in the state than the fact that for the rehabilitation of the Jammu migrants, the government didn't spend a single penny in all these years out of the allocated Rs 13 crore from the Prime Minister's package.
The official documents in possession of Early Times reveal that in November 2015, a special package for the Jammu migrants was sanctioned by the government of India via Prime Minister's economic package that was announced for J&K at large. Out of the total amount of Rs 80 thousand crore, Rs 13 cr was kept for the rehabilitation of the Jammu migrants. However, as per the official figures, not even a single rupee has so far been spent on the ground for the purpose. Such a situation has taken a lid off of the claims being made by the helmsmen that there wasn't any stone left unturned to ensure the upliftment of the downtrodden in the society.
Pertinent to mention here that most of the Jammu migrants who bore the brunt of militancy in the past are even at present taking shelter at Ta... | |

JAMMU, June 30: The Mehbooba Mufti-led PDP-BJP coalition government is out. It was a good riddance, as it had only promoted separatism and communalism and hurt Jammu and Ladakh the most.
