Seniority list delayed by week to accommodate ‘sufarshi’ doctor

Early Times Report Srinagar, July 13: In an alleged case of favoritism, to benefit wife of a former bureaucrat who was also Advisor, the doctor was given “undue promotion as Director”, a week before compilation of the seniority list. Sources said the doctor, who is wife of a former bureaucrat was elevated as Director in family welfare whereas two of the doctors, senior to her were “ignored in violation of convention and norms.” Official documents reveal that the doctor was promoted as Director on May 22, 2023 vide order 422 of HME. Interestingly, the promotion order was signed a week before the seniority list was finalized. Early Times Report Srinagar, July 13: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday conducted another round of raids at the premises of hybrid militants and Overground Workers (OGWs) of the outfits and affiliates of Pakistan-backed banned militants organizations, officials said. Early Times Report SRINAGAR, July 13: Three Non-locals Labourers were injured after terrorists fired upon them in Gagran area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Thursday evening.
