NEW DELHI, July 14: On receiving a suspicious e-notice from a Government office on the email, people should check the Internet to authenticate the name of the official named in it and call the mentioned department, the Union home ministry’s cyber crime unit said on Sunday. Users should be aware of “fake emails” sent in the garb of a government e-notice, said the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) in a public advertisement. This could be a con that can make people “a victim of cyber fraud”, the ad cautioned. Early Times Report SRINAGAR, July 14: A temple of Goddess Uma Bhagwati was reopened after more than 30 years in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir in the presence of Union minister Nityanand Rai on Sunday, officials said. Following restoration work, the temple was opened to devotees during an inauguration ceremony, they said. Early Times Report Srinagar, July 14: Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested lawyer Mian Muzzafar and booked him under the Public Safety Act (PSA), his family said on Sunday. Muzaffar, who is the nephew of former Bar Association President Mian Qayoom, is the third lawyer arrested by the police in the past fortnight. Mian Qayoom was arrested by J&K police in the murder of Advocate Babar Qadri in 2020. Early Times Report JAMMU, July 14: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education on Sunday announced results of annual regular exams of 11th standard with an overall pass percentage of 72 percent. JKBOSE officials said that among the overall pass percentage includes 75 percent female students and 69 percent male students. An official said that a total of 1,23,026 students were enrolled for the examination out of which 88,396 students passed the exams.
