Doda, July 17: Municipal Committee Doda has been exposed through an RTI reply which reveals that only 50 % of the auction money has been recovered from several bidders in several cases. A loss of more than Rs 75 lakhs has been estimated through this unholy practice during last 5 years. Aggrieved persons have appealed to the State Vigilance Organsiation (SVO) to file a formal FIR and arrest the involved officers especially the incumbent Executive Officer and some of his predecessors.

"The matter regarding the engagement of contractual teaching faculty was taken up by the Campus Deans in their meeting on July 7, 2015, wherein it was resolved that one lecturer be engaged for enrolment of 500 candidates for PG courses in DDE and no recruitment was required for UG courses.
