Irony ! Inexperienced Medical Superintendents manage Jammu hospitals | Lack requisite qualification to handle most important posts amid Covid times | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 18: The Medical Superintendents managing the premiere hospitals in Jammu barring SMGS hospital don’t possess the requisite qualification to handle these institutions.
Sources told Early Times that the Medical Superintendents posted at Government Medical College Jammu, Gandhi Nagar Hospital, newly inaugurated DRDO Hospital, CD Hospital and Psychiatric Hospital are simple medical officers and don’t possess the requisite qualification and experience.
They said that for doctor to be eligible for the post of Medical Superintendent besides having completed his Post Graduation i.e. MD, should have at least three years experience in administration to be appointed as deputy medical superintendents and five year experience as deputy medical superintendent to be appointed as Medical Superintendent.
Sources said that the Medical Superintendents running the premiere hospitals in Jammu due to their “inexperience” have messed up the entire administration.

Jammu, July 18: Even as the abrogation of the so called special status was expected to end seven decades of alleged discrimination, a hi-tech air quality machine has been installed in Kashmir while Jammu will have to “wait as usual.”
