Early Times Report Jammu, July 21: Over 3.86 lakh devotees have performed the ongoing Amarnath Yatra so far as another batch of 3,113 pilgrims left Jammu for Kashmir on Sunday. Early Times Report JAMMU, July 21: Five people, including a father-son duo and a mother-daughter duo, were killed and seven injured in two separate road accidents in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri and Reasi districts on Sunday, officials said. A taxi carrying eight people and proceeding towards Lam from Thandikassi fell off a hilly road near Chalan village in Rajouri in the morning, they said. ‘No shortage of coal for power sector’

KOLKATA, July 21: Union Minister G Kishan Reddy said there is “no shortage” of coal for the power sector and the Centre will ensure adequate supply of the dry fuel to meet demand. The long-term demand will be met by increased productivity of Coal India and commercial mines, he said. “We are supplying coal to all thermal power plants. We have requested plants based on imported coal to switch their technology to utilise domestic fuel. There is no shortage of coal in the country,” Reddy, the minister for coal and mines, told PTI. NEW DELHI, July 21: The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear on Monday a batch of petitions related to the controversy-ridden medical entrance exam, NEET-UG 2024, which was held on May 5. The National Testing Agency (NTA) had on Saturday released city- and centre-wise results of the medical entrance exam, which is riddled with accusations of paper leak and inordinate inflation of marks.
