Jammu, July 23: Although BJP has announced to celebrate ‘first anniversary’ of abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35-A in a big way, party leaders finding it difficult to mobile support of people due to prevailing anger against incompetent and non-serious local leadership of the party. Credible sources said that party leadership, who have approached locals for the one-year celebrations of abrogation of Article 370 and 35-A have not received good response from the people. “People are asking questions about false promises of BJP leaders on uprooting toll plazas”, sources in the party said and revealed that common people in Jammu were against non-serious leaders of J&K BJP who have failed to come up-to the expectations of the people.
On the condition of anonymity, a senior leader said that it was difficult to pacify angry residents because there was a feeling among strong supporters of BJP that the Jammu leaders betrayed the people on many issues.

Jammu, Jul y 23: Apart from 27 teaching staff members attached at Director School Education Jammu (DSEJ), there are many similar cases of attachments of lecturers, teachers and even Rehbar-e-Taleem teachers in the department.
The teaching staff has been making all round efforts to continue with their attachments at the offices rather than working at the schools, where they were posted and to do the work, for which they were recruited, sources told Early Times.

SRINAGAR, July 23: The union territory of Jammu & Kashmir continues to witness a spike in Corona Virus cases as record 718 cases were reported today. Meanwhile, the death toll due to virus reached 282 as nine more people lost their lives in the past 24 hours.
Reports said that Srinagar recorded four fresh deaths followed by Baramulla with three deaths and a death each from Kupwara and Pulwama districts. Leh/Jammu, July 23: Four more people tested positive for COVID-19 in Ladakh on Thursday taking the number of active cases in the union territory to 183, officials said.
According to the media bulletin released by the directorate of health services of Ladakh, four patients in home isolation at Kargil and three from a COVID-19 hospital in Kargil were discharged on Thursday after their negative sample reports were received by the chief medical officer of Kargil.
With this, the number of active COVID-19 cases in Ladakh has dropped to 1,83,159 in Leh district and 24 in Kargil district while the condition of all 183 active cases is stable, the bulletin said.
