Jammu, July 27: Over 30,000 bogus ration cards have been deleted in Jammu and Kashmir during the last three years. These bogus ration cards have been detected after authorities started the process to link cards with Aadhaar.
Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Department, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti in a written reply in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday said that under the National Food Security Act, Aadhaar seeding of ration cards ensure uniqueness of beneficiaries in public Distribution System (PDS), avoiding duplicate/bogus ration cards/beneficiaries.

Srinagar, July 27 : Ahead of 15 August celebrations, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has directed the security agencies including paramilitary CRPF in Kashmir to maintain highest vigil while performing the duties.

SRINAGAR, July 27: The Government on Tuesday informed that 107 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 40 from Jammu division and 67 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 320866.
Moreover, 183 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 68 from Jammu Division and 115 from Kashmir Division.
