Srinagar, July 30: Customers of Jammu and Kashmir Bank are experiencing significant disruptions across the Union Territory due to a technical glitch affecting the bank's digital platforms.
The snag, which began earlier this week, has left thousands of customers unable to access essential banking services, causing widespread frustration and financial inconvenience.
From Srinagar to Jammu, customers have reported being unable to access online banking services and UPI transactions have come to a halt.
The disruption has hit a broad spectrum of the bank's clientele, from individual account holders to small businesses and large enterprises.

Jammu, July 30: Another batch of 1,477 devotees left Jammu for Kashmir on Tuesday, taking the total number to 4.66 lakh pilgrims who have performed the ongoing Amarnath Yatra so far, said the officials of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB), which manages the affairs of the Himalayan Yatra.
The Yatra started on June 29 and will conclude after 52 days on August 19 coinciding with Shravan Purnima and Raksha Bandhan festivals.

JAMMU, July 30: Police on Tuesday raided a premises in Talab Tillo area here in connection with recovery of fake and forged gun licences.
Police sources said that acting of specific inputs after recovery of fake gun licences on July 25 from an under construction building, a premises was raided in the Karan Bagh area.
“During the raid, some documents and incriminating material was seized. The raid is in progress,” they added.

JAMMU, July 30: A 27-year-old man was killed in an attack by a black bear in a forest in the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, officials said.
Mohd Cheriya, a resident of Saroor, was attacked by the beast at Halander around 8 am when he was grazing his cattle in the forest area, the officials said.

JAMMU, July 30: Security forces have launched a cordon and search operation following information about movement of two suspected terrorists in a remote village in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Tuesday.
The two armed suspects, dressed in black, were seen moving in Salampura village near Dehra Ki Gali late Monday night, they said.
Police assisted by the Rashtriya Rifles and CRPF launched a joint operation immediately after getting the information.

The Somnath Express, which runs between Jammu and Rajasthan, was halted at a railway station in Punjab’s Ferozepur district on Tuesday after police received an anonymous call claiming a bomb had been planted on the train, officials said.
All passengers were evacuated at Kasu Begu railway station, they said.
The Somnath Express runs between Jammu Tawi in Jammu and Kashmir and Bhagat Ki Kothi in Rajasthan.
