Srinagar, July 3: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today announced Rs 5 lakh cash reward to villagers of Tukson Dhok, Reasi for displaying great courage and bravery in apprehending two most-wanted terrorists.
“I salute the bravery of villagers of Tukson Dhok, Reasi, who apprehended two most-wanted terrorists. Such determination by common man shows end of terrorism is not far away. Jammu, July 3: Hours after two most wanted terrorists were overpowered and captured by the residents of village Tuckson of Jammu’s Reasi district, Army on Sunday lauded their courage and said that people are now against the Pakistan-sponsored terrorism and such brave acts are the result of it.

Jammu, July 3: During the first four days, over 50,000 pilgrims performed Pooja and had “Darshan’ of the naturally formed ice-Shivlingam.
“Over 50,000 pilgrims have so far performed Pooja in the holy cave”, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha informed while interacting with pilgrims at Pantha Chowk in Srinagar city.
The Lieutenant Governor assured that elaborate security arrangements have been made for the smooth conduct of Yatra. SRINAGAR, July 3: Jammu and Kashmir Traffic Police today issued advisory for tourists, yatries and truck movement to inform about travel timings and travel restrictions for NH-44 during Shri Amarnathji Yatra-2022.
According to advisory issued by the IGP Traffic Police, J&K, empty tankers and trucks upto 10 tyres shall ply via Mughal Road towards Jammu.
While as the loaded trucks upto 10 tyres including those loaded with fresh perishable items shall preferentially use Mughal Road towards Jammu.
The timings of Mughal Road have also been increased from 7am to 4pm, for the present, subject to the daily assessment by Traffic authorities.

Jammu, July 3: A high alert has been sounded in Jammu and Kashmir after inputs from the intelligence agency that Pakistan has reactivated over a dozen terrorist launch pads across the Line of Control (LoC) and International Border (IB).
As reported earlier the launch pads across the LoC in Kashmir Valley are abuzz with activities of terrorists, believed to be Afghan returnee mercenaries, receiving training with a possible push expected during the coming months.
Quoting official sources, reports said that nearly 200 terrorists are waiting on these launch pads in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) and Pakistan to infiltrate into Jammu and Kashmir.

Srinagar, July 3: The youths joining the terror ranks in Jammu and Kashmir have a “short shelf life” with more than 64 per cent of them being killed by security forces within a year, officials said on Sunday.
Security forces, aided by a strong on-ground intelligence network, have scaled up anti-terror operations in the first five months of this year, though frequent violence in south Kashmir remained a cause for concern, they said.

Srinagar, July 3: A policeman was shot at and injured by militants on Sunday in Bijbhera area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
A top police officer said, that militants fired upon a cop in Bijbehara. He recieved bullet wound and was subsequently shifted to nearby hospital for treatment.
