Article 370 history now: Shah Faesal | ‘Jhelum and Ganga have merged in the great Indian Ocean for good’ | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 4: On July 3, the Supreme Court in its notice mentioned Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Shah Faesal as the main petition to challenge the abrogation of Article 370 in the Apex Court.
On the very next day, on July 4, Shah Faesal said that Article 370 is history now.
Taking to Twitter, the IAS officer said that there is no going back, but only marching forward. Faesal was the lead petitioner challenging the abrogation of Article 370 nearly four years after it was implemented on August 5, 2019.
“370, for many Kashmiris like me, is a thing of the past. Jhelum and Ganga have merged in the great Indian Ocean for good. There is no going back. There is only marching forward,” Shah said in his tweet.

Cong treads cautious path, maintains silence | | |
Early Times Report
Jammu, July 4: While all non-BJP parties in Jammu and Kashmir welcome the decision of the Supreme Court to hear petitions challenging the abrogation of Article 370, Congress has maintained a guarded silence on this issue.
Instead of “celebrating” this decision of the Apex Court like other political parties, Congress is treading cautiously on this highly emotive issue. Not even a single Congress leader has given any statement on the decision of the Apex Court.
Since the abrogation of Article 370, Congress leadership is avoiding echoing the demand of restoring this article. From time and again all Congress leaders had avoided raising the issue of Article 370.
