Mumbai, July 06: On Tuesday, J&K Bank MD & CEO Baldev Prakash called upon Governor, Reserve Bank of India, Dr Shaktikanta Das in Mumbai. He also interacted with the Deputy Governor Michael Patra during his visit to the RBI Headquarters. On the occasion, Governor RBI Dr Shaktikanta Das acknowledged the Bank’s systemic significance in J&K, Ladakh and urged the Bank’s leadership to redouble its efforts towards meeting the economic goals of both the Union Territories. He emphasized upon being fully compliant with regulatory guidelines and above all meeting stakeholders’ expectations. Agencies New Delhi, July 6: The CBI is conducting searches at 16 locations across the country in connection with the alleged graft flagged by former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik in awarding contract for civil work for the Kishtwar-based Kiru Hydro Power Project Limited in 2019, officials said Wednesday. The search operations are spread across two places in Srinagar, five in Jammu, five in Delhi, three in Mumbai and one in Patna at the premises of middlemen and associates involved in the project, they said. Early Times Report SRINAGAR, July 6: CJM Shopian Iqbal Ahmed Akhoon has rejected the bail application of one Shafat Ahmad Shiekh who was involved in issuing fake SIM cards. On 18-6-2022 P/S Shopian received information from reliable sources that some SIM vendors have prepared forged documents and putting the photographs of diffident people and have deceived people had issued SIM cards to earn money by illegal means.
