Early Times Report Jammu, July 31: With Kashmir getting back to the path of peace and prosperity, the valley will host numerous day and night events on August 5 to celebrate the abrogation of the so-called special status of Jammu and Kashmir. Top leaders of the BJP including two ministers from the Union Cabinet are all set to visit Kashmir for the special festivities, the Early Times learnt from reliable sources in the national capital. Sources said the J&K administration has received instructions from New Delhi that given the boom in economic activities in Kashmir, which had been otherwise marred by terror in the last around three decades, the region should wear a festive look for the “full twenty hours of the big day.” The sources said while the historic Lal Chowk will host a mega musical show, a night football match is also likely to be held at the Bakshi Stadium. Early Times Report Jammu, July 31: Another batch of more than 500 pilgrims left on Sunday for the revered Buddha Amarnath shrine in Poonch district from a base camp in Jammu amid tight security arrangements, officials said. The Buddha Amarnath Yatra resumed on Friday after remaining suspended for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
