R&B Deptt makes mockery of Guv admin with impunity | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 12: Top government sources reveal that Designs, Inspections and Quality Control department of the state- which comes under the purview of the R&B department has been failing norms and laid down procedure with impunity and with no fear of the consequences for throwing rules to the wind.
The posts of three Deputy Research Officers in its Srinagar wing have been held up within the department illegally by the junior level engineers. Further, a JE has been working in violation of the rules in the department's Road Research Laboratory.
The post of the JE is nowhere existent in the laboratory but the JE in question has managed to grab the post and discharge the duties there. No one has touched him so far.
Also, the posts of the Research Officer is held illegally by a Junior level engineer who is otherwise an Incharge AEE in the R&B Department. Jammu, Aug 12: Four Indian Administrative Officers (IAS) of Jammu and Kashmir Cadre have been suspended and several lower rung officials of Jammu and Kashmir Government may land in trouble after their role surfaced in fake gun license racket which was unearthed by Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of Rajasthan.
After the fake gun license scam was unearthed by the ATS Rajasthan, the state government initiated parallel investigation through Vigilance Organization and later on the case was transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
