Shocking complaints’ forced BJP for ‘organizational changes’ | | | ET Report
Jammu: Even as the Bharatiya Janta Party recently relieved three of its leaders of crucial assignments in Jammu and Kashmir, sources said there were “shocking complaints” against the trio.
While the decisions in this regard were taken by the BJP President J&K Ravinder Raina who “made some organizational changes” relieving the trio of crucial charges, the sources said there were such complaints that Raina couldn’t stop himself from immediately picking up the matter with the national level leadership in New Delhi “lest things go out of control.”
Sources said during his meetings with the disgruntled leaders of Kashmir province, Raina got “shocking inputs” and conveyed the same to his superiors in the party who asked him to initiate action without delay.
Sources said the Raina got inputs that the trio had crossed “all limits of indiscipline and that in the garb of claiming to be party loyalists the trio had been playing with the party image to meet personal greed.”

No restrictions, internet blockade on I-Day in Kashmir: Div Com Bidhuri | | | SRINAGAR, Aug 12: Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri on Saturday said there won’t be any restrictions on the eve of Independence Day in Kashmir while the internet and facilities will also function smoothly.
Addressing a news conference here at his office chamber, Bidhuri, said that all the arrangements have been finalized to ensure smooth conduct of Independence Day.
He added that the venue for the main event in Srinagar has been changed from Sk Stadium to Bakshi Stadium in wake of the space crunch as this year the administration is expecting a huge participation of people in the event.

Kutch, August 12 : Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday said the government understands the adverse situation in which Border Security Force (BSF) jawans work to secure the nation’s frontiers and will ensure budgetary allocations to give them better facilities.
