SRINAGAR, Aug 19: Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) will conduct driving test of candidates who have applied for the posts of Drivers, Driver Grade-II and Tractor Driver from 21st August, 2023.
A notification issued by JKSSB in this regard reads that the driving test of the candidates who have applied for the posts of Drivers, Driver Grade-II and Tractor Driver shall be conducted from 21st August, 2023 in Kashmir and Jammu.

New Delhi, Aug 19: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday lauded the feat of the number of Jan Dhan accounts crossing the 50-crore mark as a significant milestone.
It is heartening to see that more than half of these accounts belong to women, Modi posted on X.
The Union Finance Ministry said on Friday that the total number of Jan Dhan accounts in the country has crossed the 50-crore mark, with 56 per cent of them belonging to women.

New Delhi, Aug 19: Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Saturday said the global interconnectedness has created shared security risks requiring the urgent need to collaborate on digital security.
Addressing the G20 Digital Economy Working Group Ministers Meet, Vaishnaw said three priority areas have been selected by the Indian presidency for the digital economy Working Group, which will help in the democratisation of technology.

Leh, Aug 19: Around nine Indian Army soldiers died and one injured after a vehicle as part of a convoy fell into a gorge near Karey in Ladakh on Saturday, sources said.
The truck that met with the accident was carrying 10 Jawans.
According to officials, the accident occurred around 6.30 pm.
