Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 23: As toll tax and installation of pre-paid smart meters snowballed into big issues in Jammu province, BJP corporators of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) urged the party leadership to solve these issues immediately to face elections of the Urban Local Bodies (ULBs). Highly placed sources said that during the meeting of the JMC corporators issue of the Sarore toll plaza and the decision of the UT administration to install pre-paid smart meters dominated the discussions. Sources said that some corporators pointed out that opposition parties, especially Congress, have successfully created a narrative in the Jammu region that the UT administration is pursuing anti-people policies.
