Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 4: Smelling Assembly polls in the near future, Congress leaders started exposing each other by disclosing alleged financial irregularities during the Bharat Jodo Yatra of 2023. Interestingly over one and a half years have passed since the conclusion of the Bharat Jodo Yatra but alleged scams in the Yatra come out after repeated intervals because some leaders used this issue to undermine some senior leaders who were at the helm of the affairs during that event. Although there is no confirmation, some Congress are publicly stating that the party’s high command initiated an internal inquiry. However, new allegations have surfaced as internal factionalism intensifies. Recently, another scandal involving protocol and related departments has come to light, implicating senior leaders. Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 4: Over 4.90 lakh devotees had ‘darshan’ during the last 36 days of the ongoing Amarnath Yatra as a fresh batch of 1,112 pilgrims left Jammu for Kashmir on Sunday, said the officials of Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB). The batch of 1,112 devotees left Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas at 3.25 a.m. in two escorted convoys for the Valley. “Of these, the first convoy of 11 vehicles carrying 204 Yatris left for North Kashmir Baltal base camp while the second convoy of 39 vehicles carrying 908 pilgrims left for south Kashmir Nunwan (Pahalgam) base camp”, officials said. Mumbai, Aug 4: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is likely to keep the key interest unchanged at 6.5 per cent on Thursday, and wait for more macroeconomic data before taking a call on rate cut in line with expectations, experts said. The US Federal Reserve has decided to maintain a status quo on its interest rate for now and indicated there could be monetary policy easing in the coming months.
