After Pakistan, China jealous of Tiranga wave in Kashmir | | |

Jammu, Aug 7: After Pakistan, neighboring China has started showing its true colors of jealously towards the wave of nationalist sentiment in Kashmir since the abrogation of the so called special status of J&K.
While Kashmir remained busy with the historic celebrations on August 5 to relish the “complete integration” of the valley with the rest of the country with the tricolors being waved across the valley, not only Pakistan even China has been unable to digest the heart-warming development.
In Beijing, China said that India and Pakistan “should resolve their differences over the Kashmir issue peacefully through dialogue and consultation.”
Asked for her comment on the third anniversary of the revocation of Article 370, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying told a media briefing that the issue should be resolved peacefully by India and Pakistan through dialogue.

Jammu, Aug 7: Mob attacked a police party during a search operation in the border area of Kathua district on early Sunday morning.
Some policemen were injured in the attack while other cops saved their lives after firing some rounds in the air to disperse the mob, believed to be interstate narcotics and cattle smugglers.

New Delhi, Aug 7: State-run aerospace behemoth Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) is working on an AI-driven multi-role, advanced and long-endurance drone for strategic missions in high-altitude areas including along the frontiers with China, people familiar with the development said on Sunday.

Jammu, Aug 7: Army has initiated a six-week-long pre-recruitment training for Agniveer aspirants in the Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir, an army officer said on Sunday.
The training capsule, being organised under the aegis of the Army's counter insurgency force (Delta) at remote Buzla and Mohubal villages, commenced on August 6 and will conclude on September 20, the officer said.

Jammu, Aug 7: The Amarnath yatra remained suspended from the Bhagwati Nagar base camp here for the second day on Sunday owing to a sharp decline in the arrival of pilgrims, officials said.
However, a fresh batch of 378 pilgrims left the base camp to pay obeisance at the shrine of Buddha Amarnath in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, they added.
