JAMMU, Sep 10: If true, it is a great development. A report based on "credible sources in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) on Monday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi may change the political map of Jammu & Kashmir by dividing it and creating three Union Territories of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
The report has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is very serious about Jammu & Kashmir and he wants to resolve the J&K issues before the general elections of 2019. "That Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to resolve the Jammu & Kashmir problem could be gauged from the fact that he wants to resolve the Jammu & Kashmir issues during his first term itself. It is possible that he may himself in a month or so declare division of Jammu & Kashmir into three parts. According to top sources in the PMO, Narendra Modi Government is working out a scheme that would lead to the state's trifurcation.
