Jammu, Sept 11: The Central University of Jammu (CUJ), which came into existence after hard struggle of Jammu people, has failed to meet the people's expectations, as its Vice-Chancellor has been using the institution to appease his political masters.
Recently, the VC, Prof Ashok Aima, arranged a programme on campus wherein he informed the gathering of teachers, officials and students about the approval for establishment of Space Technology Research Centre in the campus. He was flanked by the senior most faculty member Prof Devanand and one Bharat, who is a BJP activist and an aide of senior BJP leader.
Bharat is neither a government official nor a university official, but was occupying the chair next to Prof. Ashok Aima while the latter was addressing the university stakeholders on the campus.
