Jammu, Sept 12: Two months after attaching the Medical Superintendent, the Health and Medical Education Department on Tuesday constituted a one-member inquiry panel to conduct a probe into allegations of illegal activities of doctors at District Hospital Ganderbal.
Interestingly, a one-member inquiry panel has been constituted on the complaint of the Medical Superintendent who was attached to the Directorate of Health Services Kashmir.

Jammu, Sept 12: Four people, including a sibling, were killed when a huge boulder hit the truck and it rolled into a deep gorge on Tuesday morning at Wagan in Banihal belt of Ramban district in Jammu and Kashmir.
Police said a truck on its way from Jammu towards Srinagar was hit by a boulder, and the vehicle skidded off from the road near Sher Bibi in Banihal.
Four people travelling in the truck were killed while police and rescue teams rushed to the scene and recovered the bodies.

Jammu, Sept 12: As the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) has extended the last date for receiving objections and suggestions regarding reservations for different categories, the BJP has decided to file objections against reservations of some wards of the Urban Local Bodies (ULBs).
Highly placed sources said that BJP leadership has constituted a four-member team to look into all aspects before filing objections before the CEO against the reservation of some wards.

NEW DELHI, Sept 12: About 40% of sitting MPs have criminal cases registered against them out of which 25% have declared serious criminal cases under charges of murder, attempt to murder, kidnapping and crimes against women, according to poll rights body ADR.
The average worth of assets per MP from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha is Rs 38.33 crores and 53 (7%) are billionaires, the ADR said.
