Unity still a distant dream in J&K Congress 9/15/2021 11:26:47 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 15: Even as loyalists of Ghulam Nabi Azad were very much present in the official function organized by Pradesh Congress to welcome Rahul Gandhi, unity in the faction-ridden party is still a distant dream.After the much-publicized visit of Rahul Gandhi, none of the Azad loyalists have visited the party office or attended any function organized by another faction. Except presenting a ‘united face’ during the visit of Rahul Gandhi, no further action has been taken to iron out differences between the two warring factions of the party. A senior leader, who owes his loyalty towards Ghulam Nabi Azad told The Early Times that their group is watching activities of dissidents. “Very soon a meeting will be convened in which all leaders including loyalists of Azad would be invited. Things will be cleared only after that meeting”, the leader, wishing anonymity, said.
