Srinagar, Sept 16: In violation of norms, an allegedly influential doctor in Kashmir, who is already under scanner for numerous scams, has been enjoying the influential chair of a principal of a government hospital here for five years though the arrangement was “temporary.”
The Early Times has got access to official documents, which reveal that the doctor in question was elevated as in-charge principal by the then Peoples Democratic Party led government on “purely temporary basis” in July 2016. Sources said the prolonged stay of the said doctor at the chair at the hospital in Bemina locality has badly affected the healthcare facilities.
Sources said the arrangement was “purely temporary” given the past record of the doctor in question who had been under scanner for numerous scams in the past but was given this charge due to his “political connections”. But the complaints against the said doctor didn’t end even after he was given the charge of principal. Jammu, Sept 16: With the arrest of two persons for managing fake Coronavirus negative certificates, one thing has become clear that Covid-19 certificates are on sale in Kashmir Valley to travel to different parts of the country.
Amid allegations that some private laboratories were issuing fake Corona negative certificates in exchange of huge money, police have nabbed two drivers who had managed such certificates just to take passengers.
