JAMMU, Sept 19: Though the BJP is all set to finalise the list for candidates of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) going to polls next month, the resentment has begun against party leadership as many aspirants, who see no chance in getting the mandate, are accusing the leadership of being unfair in making selections.
According to sources the BJP which is already facing criticism of the masses for its failure in fulfilling the poll promises made in 2014 Parliamentary and Assembly elections is also under the anti-incumbency factor of which its rivals will take a full advantage during the campaigning for both municipal, local bodies and Panchayat elections.
The BJP will also face damage due to rebellion within in case the selection of candidates was not fair, sources added.
