Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 19: Within minutes after Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced the Women’s Reservation Bill in the Lok Sabha to grant 33 percent reservation to women in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies, social media flooded with lists of assembly constituencies to be reserved for women in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Although there is no official confirmation of the lists posted on social media, fear gripped many senior politicians of Jammu and Kashmir because their strongholds are likely to be reserved for women. Agencies New Delhi, Sept 19: The CBI has filed an FIR against a small savings bank for allegedly swindling investment worth crores of rupees of more than 20,000 of its customers in West Bengal, officials said on Monday. The central agency registered the case on Sunday, within days of the Calcutta High Court imposing a fine of ₹ 5 lakh on the state Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for violating its order of not transferring the three-year-old case to the CBI and the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
