Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 23: Ahead of the coming Lok Sabha elections, the Congress high command is likely to appoint a new incharge of the Jammu and Kashmir unit in place of the incumbent incharge Rajni Patil. Highly placed sources said that being a resident of Maharashtra Congress high command is seriously thinking of utilizing Rajni Patil services in her home state where the party has high stakes as compared to Jammu and Kashmir. Sources said that Congress high command has realized that Maharashtra is more important for the party in place of J&K where the party is in a position to give a tough fight on two Lok Sabha seats of Jammu province only. Sources said that Rajni Patil, who is a Rajya Sabha member, is also not interested in continuing as incharge of J&K Congress because during her tenure as AICC incharge J&K Rajni Patil has effectively streamlined activities of the party and now the Congress is on a revival path in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. 2 doctors terminated for ‘unauthorised absence’

Early Times Report Srinagar, Sept 23: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the termination of the services of two doctors for “unauthorised absence” with immediate effect. As per two orders issued by the Health and Medical Education Department the doctors were terminated for failing to join duties after the lapse of their leave.
