Kejriwal denies exclusive audience to AAP leaders from JK | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 24: In yet another alleged embarrassment for the Aam Aadmi Party in Jammu and Kashmir, the AAP leadership “denied exclusive audience” to leaders from JK, who were on a visit to New Delhi to attend party’s national meeting.
Sources said a group of senior leaders of the AAP, which is facing “volley of resignations”, were expecting to hold a one-on-one meeting with Kejriwal to discuss the “ongoing collapse” of the party in JK.
Sources said party leadership wanted to tell the AAP chief that the “frequent” change of guard in JK in particular was proving detrimental for the party.”
The sources said in the wake of corruption charges against the Delhi government, Kejriwal apprehending “awkward questions avoided the prospective meet.”
Political observers said given the fact the scores of party leaders and cadres are resigning from AAP in J&K, Kejriwal should have held a separate meeting with the regional leadership to know their feedback on what needs to be done for “course correction.”

Pulwama, Sept 24: Two migrant labourers were shot at and injured in Kharbhatpora locality of Ratnipora in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday evening.
An official said that the labourers identified as Shamshad Ahmad son of Islam Sheikh and Faizan Qadri both residents of Bihar were shot at by militants in Kharbhatpora locality.
