Ahemdabad, Sept 27: Union Home Minister Amit Shah today alleged instead of improving health infrastructure, Congress leaders “made money” in the name of improving medical education facilities when the party was in power before 2014.
Addressing a gathering in Kalol town in Gandhinagar district, Mr Shah said the healthcare scenario improved after Prime Minister Narendra Modi assumed office in 2014.

Jammu, Sept 27: Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s Jammu and Kashmir visit on October 1 and 2 has been postponed and that he will now arrive on October 4, Official sources said.
A BJP leader privy to the development said that due to some engagements, Union Home Minister’s J&K visit has been postponed. “Now he will arrive on October 4 on two-day J&K visit,” he said, adding that Shah will visit Rajouri and address a rally there. He will also visit Baramulla and address a mega rally there. Shah is also scheduled to make announcements about various welfare schemes for Paharis and Schedule Tribe people in Baramulla.

Srinagar, Sept 27: A member of proscribed terror outfit Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) has been killed in an ongoing encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district, police said on Tuesday.

NEW DELHI, Sept 27: In a first, the Supreme Court on Tuesday began live-streaming its constitution bench proceedings.
On September 27, 2018, the then Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra had delivered the landmark judgement on the live telecast or webcast of important proceedings in matters of constitutional importance, saying “sunlight is the best disinfectant”.
The proceedings can be accessed at webcast.Gov.In/scindia/, said an official.

New Delhi, Sept 27: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off Gandhinagar-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express and Ahmedabad Metro rail, and lay foundation stones for several projects worth more than Rs 29,000 crore during his two-day visit to poll-bound Gujarat from September 29.
