PM Modi, who has been on a two-day visit to Gujarat starting Tuesday, was speaking at the launch of various development projects worth over Rs 5,000 crore, including projects worth Rs 4,500 crore related to education sector, in Bodeli town of tribal-dominated Chhotaudepur district of Gujarat.

"The NIA is conducting raids at 51 locations across 6 states in 3 cases related to associates of Lawrence, Bambiha and Arsh Dalla gangs," an official of the National Investigative Agency (NIA) said.
An associate of the Arsh Dalla gang has been detained during the raids, the official said.

srinagar, Sept 27: Eight people were injured in an explosion in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district on Wednesday, police said.
However, police ruled out any terror angle, saying the blast occurred in a "load carrier" vehicle carrying a concrete vibration machine, a portable generator and a can of oil.
"An explosion occurred in the cement mix settling vibration machine, adjacent portable generator and tin can of oil being carried with labourers in a load carrier at Larkipora Anantnag," Kashmir Zone Police said in a post on X.
Eight labourers sustained burn injuries and they are being treated at a hospital, police said.

jammu, Sept 27: A special police officer (SPO) was killed and three others, including two cops, were injured when their vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir's Ramban district on Wednesday, officials said.
The accident took place near a dam at Chanderkote, they said.

Of the 47 terrorists killed in Jammu and Kashmir between January 1 and January 26 this year, included nine local terrorists and 38 foreign terrorists.
The number of terrorists neutralised in 2022 remained at 187, including 130 local terrorists and 57 foreign terrorists.
