NEW DELHI, Sept 27: The NIA on Wednesday conducted raids at 51 locations in six states in connection with the crackdown on a terror-gangster network operating in India and Canada, officials said. "The NIA is conducting raids at 51 locations across 6 states in 3 cases related to associates of Lawrence, Bambiha and Arsh Dalla gangs," an official of the National Investigative Agency (NIA) said. An associate of the Arsh Dalla gang has been detained during the raids, the official said. While Lawrence Bishnoi is in jail, gangster-turned-terrorist Arshdeep Singh alias Arsh Dalla is based in Canada and Davinder Bambiha was killed in an encounter with Punjab Police in 2016....

Bank guard killing: SIA conducts raids in South Kashmir

early times report srinagar, Sept 27: Eight people were injured in an explosion in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district on Wednesday, police said. However, police ruled out any terror angle, saying the blast occurred in a "load carrier" vehicle carrying a concrete vibration machine, a portable generator and a can of oil. "An explosion occurred in the cement mix settling vibration machine, adjacent portable generator and tin can of oil being carried with labourers in a load carrier at Larkipora Anantnag," Kashmir Zone Police said in a post on X. NEW DELHI, Sept 27: Internet major Google will roll out an earthquake alert service in India that works using sensors in Android smartphones to detect and estimate the intensity of earthquakes, the company said on Wednesday. early times report jammu, Sept 27: A special police officer (SPO) was killed and three others, including two cops, were injured when their vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir's Ramban district on Wednesday, officials said. NEW DELHI, Sept 27: A total of 47 terrorists were killed and 204 apprehended in multiple operations conducted by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and other security forces in Jammu and Kashmir till September 26 this year, official sources said. Of the 47 terrorists killed in Jammu and Kashmir between January 1 and January 26 this year, included nine local terrorists and 38 foreign terrorists. The number of terrorists neutralised in 2022 remained at 187, including 130 local terrorists and 57 foreign terrorists. NEW DELHI, Sept 27: An IAS officer serving in the Arunachal Pradesh government has been compulsorily retired by the government, sources said on Wednesday. Rinku Dugga, a 1994-batch AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territory) cadre officer, was posted as Principal Secretary, Indigenous Affairs in Arunachal Pradesh.
