BLSKS celebrates Happy Children’s Day

JAMMU, Nov 13: To celebrates the " Happy Children's Day" & to promote the Triditional Folk Culture of Jammu & Kashmir & to the Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan presented its Wednesday series musical play " Bal Divas" in co-ordination with Sangam Tru Art Production at Durga Bhawan Jammu. This year's theme for World Children's Day is "For every child, every right," which calls for efforts to ensure that all children receive their fundamental rights. This includes the right to education, food, housing, sanitation, and protection from harmful work. The program was inaugurated by the chief guest Dr.Tara Singh Charak, former deputy director, health department J&K. Among the guest of honors present were V.K. Magotra, Former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India Government, Mukesh Singh, Media Person Jammu. The songs is written, & produced by Dr. M.L. Dogra Chairman (BLSKS). The programe commenced with songs "Ekta Ekta Da Diya", "Bache Mann Ke Sache", "Bacho se hai sab sanasar", "Mil Ke Chalo" music of the songs was composed by renowned singer Raju Bajgal & song sung by Artists of BLSKS and all students of the institute. The chief guest said every year on November 14th, India celebrates Children's Day. This is also known as Bal Divas. On this day, people are made aware of children's rights, care, and education. This day commemorates the birth anniversary of India's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. The purpose of the day is to recognize Kalam's contributions to education and students. Magotra underlined the importance of staging of such plays in all parts of the state to generate the awareness of culture of our country & urged the artistes / cultural organization to contribute in enriching the cultural heritage and inspiring the younger generation to follow foot prints of their elders in preserving the composite culture of the nation. The program was also recorded & uploaded online on Social Media for benefit of the peoples.
Welcome address of M.L. Dogra, highlighted the event and said Children's Day is observed every year on November 14. The day is a heartfelt tribute to the first Prime Minister of free India, Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru. On this day, schools and communities organize various events to recognize the vibrant spirit and potential of every child. It is a reminder to safeguard the rights of children to ensure their growth and development. This Children's Day share the best message and quotes to mark the significance of good education, healthcare and collective commitment to build a better future. On the occasion of Children's Day, many schools organize speech, essay, drawing and other competitions to enable students to celebrate the event celebrated with huge joy and fervour across India, especially in schools and colleges. The day provides an opportunity for students and teachers to celebrated the young population of India.
