TWA urges Governor to exempt "Special Need" employees

Jammu, Jan 16: Jammu and Kashmir Teacher's Welfare Association (JKTWA) State President Jasmeet Singh Madaan has urged the Governor, NN Vohra and Commissioner/ Secretary, Nirmala Sharma for exempting all " Handicapped, Medical Grounds" Teachers/ Master's/ Lecturers' out of the purview of government Order No. 8 of 2015 so as to provide them succor. On the one hand, the decision is widely hailed by the TW A but at the same time, it is requested to exempt these special need Teachers/ Masters/ Lecturers out of the purview of the Government order purely on humanitarian grounds. It is a well known fact that these Special Need Teachers/ Masters/ Lecturers' are provided "Conveyance Allowance" by the government on humanitarian grounds as a special help and at the same time, they are now totally disturbed on being relieved to join at far- off places.
They urged Governor, NN Vohra and Commissioner/ Secretary, Education to review the Order No. 08 and modified it so that it don't affect the Handicapped employees on humanitarian grounds.
