SRINAGAR, Feb 9: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kashmir accused MLA Langate Er Rashid for his double standards over Afzal Guru's secret execution in Tihar Jail. Altaf Thakur, BJP media incharge, Kashmir said that Er Rashid's double standards was exposed, as Guru was secretly executed and buried inside the Delhi's Tihar Jail during the tenure of Congress-led UPA regime on this day in 2013 and Er Rashid voted in favour of the same party. "Yesterday he (Rashid) voted for Congress and today his party workers are protesting here, which speaks his double standards," he said. He said, Rashid's workers protested in Kashmir today and demanded the mortal remains of Guru, while as, Rashid himself was celebrating the Congress leader's victory in Jammu.Thakur also said that Rashid was misleading the general public by using media tactically. "He (Rashid) is exploiting the sentiments of people here," he said, adding, he change colors like a chameleon. |
